Experience Video

As the first part of this project comes to close, I can confidently say this project involved more than just science and lab research. I thoroughly enjoyed my time researching in and outside of the lab, and even though we did not get the results I hoped for, this was an unforgettable experience that taught me a lot. As one of the 621, 056 Memphis citizens, I am glad I got to connect with my city on a differnet level. I not only want to keep researching to learn, but I want to continue to give back to my city in any form. This experience did solidify my desire to continue researching in the future, whether at college or as a future profession, but I have now gained a deeper appreciation for what my city has to offer, above and below the surface. I aspire to continue maintaining this website, continuing research on this topic, and providing an opportunity for the general Memphis public to have the autonomy of knowing the state of their drinking water. While I do not know the future state of the Memphis Aquifer or what the form of future research will be like, I know I will always have a connection to Memphis.
